I’m Hazal, Zoé batiques is my batik project inspired by the circular transilience within the elements of nature - fire, water, air and earth.
just like all natural phenomenon, materials used in the making of the artwork consist of these 4 elements and they never cease to intertransform. this is why the works of Zoé batiques come out to existence unrepeatably.
an original interpretation of the ancient Indonesian painting technique “Batik” with a contemporary perspective, this batiques project blends the linear process of time into a circle of layers. and beneath all layers, lies a dream.
